A note about this meeting: a few of our colleagues from various institutions were not able to make this date and time, so we will have a relatively small, informal group.  The room will be set up in a “U” shape more conducive to discussion.

CDL staff Tracy Seneca, Rachael Hu, Adrian Turner and Rosalie Lack will be present and will facilitate the discussion at different points in the session.

1 – 2 pm:  Introductions and information sharing. 

I’d like to ask each of you to spend 3-5 minutes discussing how you’re using the service and/or how you plan to use the service in the future.  You’ll have access to a computer and projector if you’d like to show your work, but you’re welcome to just talk as well. 

2-2:20 pm: WAS Metadata Export

Tracy Seneca and Rachel Taketa (UCSF) will demo and discuss the first pilot of the WAS metadata export feature to integrate web archived materials into external systems. 

2:20-2:30 Break

2:30 – 4:00 Brainstorming sessions

The CDL staff members have a couple of specific questions we want to explore with you.  Since it is a smaller group, we may be able to explore these with just open discussion, but we will also have some formal brainstorming tools and techniques available if that will help facilitate the discussion.

A couple additional notes: we plan to use an audio recorder so that CDL staff can do the best possible analysis of the discussion and determine next steps.  We will also provide beverages and snacks.
