Suffix Passthrough Explained

Suffix Passthrough (SPT) is a feature of ARK identifiers stored in the N2T (n2t.net) resolver. Basically, it permits an ARK registered for one object to behave as if any number of individual ARKs had been registered for objects beneath it (sub-objects). For example, a dataset with 10,000 parts and one overall ARK,

effectively allows access via 10,001 ARKs but with only one ARK to manage them.
